UWS Traffic API Manual

Learn how to integrate UWS Traffic API into your applications. Fast, affordable, and robust Web Traffic Generation API.

API
MCP

Authentication

To authenticate your API requests, you must include your API key in the HTTP headers. You can find or generate your API key in the API Keys menu.

Header NameDescription
X-API-KEYYour unique secret API key.

Rate Limits

The current API rate limit is set to 60 requests per minute per IP address. Exceeding this limit will result in a 429 Too Many Requests response.

Traffic Generation Endpoint

Perform load testing and massive traffic generation. We support POST requests with a JSON body. Behind the scenes, we fully utilize Bright Data's Residential Proxy Network infrastructure. Our backend automatically generates and injects dynamic session IDs (e.g., -session-rand123-zone-) for each individual request. This guarantees a 100% unique, rotating IP address per request, perfectly mimicking legitimate human traffic and bypassing stringent IP rate limits or WAFs.

POST /api/traffic

Parameters (JSON Body)

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
urlStringYesThe target URL to generate traffic for (e.g., "https://example.com").
countIntegerYesNumber of traffic requests to generate simultaneously. Each request autonomously rotates the Bright Data session to guarantee a unique IP.

cURL Example (POST - JSON Body)

curl -X POST "https://uwstraffic.com/api/traffic" \ -H "Authorization: YOUR_API_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"url": "https://example.com", "count": 100}'

Python Example (Requests)

import requests import json url = "https://uwstraffic.com/api/traffic" payload = json.dumps({ "url": "https://example.com", "count": 100 }) headers = { "Authorization": "YOUR_API_KEY", "Content-Type": "application/json" } response = requests.request("POST", url, headers=headers, data=payload) print(response.json())

Node.js Example (Fetch)

const fetch = require('node-fetch'); const url = 'https://uwstraffic.com/api/traffic'; const options = { method: 'POST', headers: { 'Authorization': 'YOUR_API_KEY', 'Content-Type': 'application/json' }, body: JSON.stringify({ url: 'https://example.com', count: 100 }) }; fetch(url, options) .then(res => res.json()) .then(json => console.log(json)) .catch(err => console.error(err));

Response Format

A successful request returns a JSON object confirming the background traffic generation.

Response Schema

FieldTypeDescription
successBooleanIndicates if the request was successfully queued.
messageStringStatus message indicating the number of requested traffics.

Example Response

{ "success": true, "message": "Background traffic generation started for 100 requests." }
